Momentum Robot for Stocks and Commodities on MT4
Raw materials move in long pushes, and that habit is exactly what Forgemaster EA was forged for. As a commodities EA for MT4 it hammers US stocks with the same engine, while select Forex pairs round out the list. The commodity market therefore sits at the centre of the design. You attach it, then you pick your risk, and afterwards the robot handles entry, protection and exit on its own.
MULTI-PAIR • LOW DRAWDOWN • BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
The Anvil and the Hammer
Forgemaster only enters when a real momentum shift lines up with the higher trend. Above all, four conditions have to agree before that happens: direction, momentum, strength and the higher timeframe. Otherwise the robot waits. Selective entries therefore replace constant activity, and win quality stays high instead of the trade count. In short, the robot picks its moments.
Winners then get room to run, although risk stays tight. An automatic stop caps the loss from the first second, and a dynamic trailing stop follows price as the push develops. Besides that, a daily profit target can close the day in green and stand aside, which keeps drawdown low. Of course, a demo account is the right place to begin.

Raw Materials, Shares and a Few Pairs
A momentum push looks much the same on a barrel, on a share and on a currency, so one engine covers all three of them. Because of that, you do not swap robots when you change market. Stocks open and close with the exchange, whereas Forex keeps going, and the session filter handles that difference for you.
Spread matters on every one of them, of course. Pick an ECN or Raw Spread account for that reason, since cheap execution feeds straight into the result. In short, costs decide more than you expect. The spread and slippage filter then blocks the moments when the cost turns silly. As a result, only sane fills reach your account.
Why Traders Pick Forgemaster
- Many markets, one robot, because US stocks, commodities and select Forex share the same rules.
- Drawdown under control, since risk is capped on every trade while a daily profit lock keeps growth steady.
- Hands-off from entry to exit, so position sizing, stop, trailing and exit all run automatically.
- Friendly to beginners, because sensible defaults skip the complex tuning.
- No activation and no license hassle, therefore you buy once and keep it forever, lifetime updates included.
Everything the Commodities EA for MT4 Carries
- Adaptive position sizing, either a fixed lot or automatic risk-based sizing that grows with your balance.
- Smart exits, namely a stop loss on every trade, break-even and a dynamic trailing stop.
- Daily profit lock, which therefore stops trading once the day hits its target.
- News filter, namely the faireconomy calendar on MetaTrader 4.
- Session control, so you trade only the sessions you want (Sydney / Tokyo / London / New York).
- Weekend shield, since trades close before the weekend to avoid gap risk.
- Spread & slippage filter as well, next to a clean on-chart dashboard.
Several Charts on a Single Balance
A second broker login buys you nothing here, so one funded account is enough. Attach the robot to as many charts as you like, then switch Position Sizing to a fixed lot, for example 0.01 per pair. Sizes stay controlled that way, and the profits from all of them add up together in the same account. Risk-percent mode, on the other hand, belongs to a single instrument per account, since each chart would otherwise size on the full balance. Use it there and compounding runs at full speed. Finally, the dashboard on each chart reports what that symbol is doing. As a result, one login is all you ever manage.
Recommended Setup
- Markets: US stocks and commodities, plus select Forex as well.
- Timeframe: M1, that is a one minute candle.
- Account: ECN / Raw Spread, in other words low spread, from $200.
- VPS: recommended, because trading then runs uninterrupted 24/5.
