Breakout Robot for Energy Names, Utilities EA for MT4
Ranges end the same way, with one candle that finally pushes through the edge. This utilities EA MT4 waits for that push, and it then joins the move on power companies, pipelines and Forex. You attach it, then you choose your risk, and afterwards the robot works on its own. Because the defaults arrive ready, the package needs no indicator setup.
MULTI-PAIR • LOW DRAWDOWN • BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
Recommended Setup
- Markets: US utilities and energy stocks, plus Forex, so shares and currencies run together.
- Timeframe: M15, therefore a fresh candle closes every fifteen minutes.
- Account: ECN / Raw Spread (low spread), from $200, since a tight quote helps a breakout entry.
- VPS: recommended, and the terminal then keeps watching 24/5.
How the Utilities EA MT4 Picks Its Moment
A breakout only counts when it carries strength. Therefore direction, momentum, strength and the higher timeframe all have to agree first. If the edge breaks weakly, then the robot lets it go and keeps waiting. Last month that filter produced between 21 and 44 trades per symbol, so the sample stayed healthy.
Utilities EA MT4 Results Last Month

Power Companies, Pipelines and Currencies
E, SO, FE and TFC gave the month its shape, and OKE plus EPD added the pipeline side. Those names tend to break out during the New York session, so the robot finds most of its work there. Currencies filled the remaining hours, because EURJPY, AUDCAD and USDCHF trade around the clock. EURJPY needed 44 trades, whereas EPD reached its result in only 21.
Why Buyers Choose the Utilities EA MT4
- Runs on many markets, since one robot stayed profitable across US utilities and energy stocks, plus Forex.
- Low, controlled drawdown, so each trade risks a capped amount while the daily lock protects a green day.
- Truly hands-off, therefore the robot sizes, protects and closes every position on its own.
- Beginner friendly, and the defaults can stay exactly as they arrive, so nothing needs tuning.
- No activation and no license hassle, since you pay once and keep it, lifetime updates included.
What Ships With Threshold
- Weekend shield, so open trades close before the weekend and a gap cannot surprise you.
- Smart exits, namely a stop loss on every trade, break-even and a dynamic trailing stop.
- Adaptive position sizing, either a fixed lot or automatic risk-based sizing that grows with the balance.
- Daily profit lock, which therefore ends the day once the target lands.
- News filter, and on MetaTrader 4 it reads the faireconomy calendar, while the MT5 build uses its native economic calendar.
- Session control, so only the sessions you want stay active (Sydney / Tokyo / London / New York).
- Spread & slippage filter too, alongside a clean on-chart dashboard.
Exits, Sessions and the Weekend
False breaks happen, and the stop loss answers them from the first tick. Break-even follows as soon as price clears enough distance. Afterwards the trailing stop walks behind the move and banks part of it. Session control keeps the robot inside the hours you trust, while the weekend shield closes everything before Friday ends. Meanwhile the daily profit lock can finish a good day early, so drawdown stays low.
One MetaTrader 4 Account, Several Charts
Another deposit is unnecessary, so a single funded balance is enough. Rather, attach the robot to several charts and select Position Sizing as a fixed lot, 0.01 per symbol for example. Each symbol therefore holds a controlled size, while the profits from all of them add up together in the same account. When maximum compounding matters on one instrument, instead, run that symbol alone in risk-percent mode. Avoid risk-percent on a shared account, though, since every chart would size on the full balance.
Installing Threshold on MetaTrader 4

- Restart the terminal afterwards, or right-click the Navigator and pick Refresh.
- Finally, drag Threshold EA onto an M15 chart, enable AutoTrading, set your risk in Inputs, and click OK.
Risk warning: Trading forex, CFDs, stocks and crypto involves a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Live conditions may differ from historical data. Always try it on a demo account first and never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
