How to Choose a Forex EA: Buyer’s Checklist
There are thousands of robots out there. This simple checklist helps you choose one that actually fits your account and goals.
The checklist
- Strategy: understand how it trades. Scalper, trend follower, grid or martingale each behave very differently.
- Risk control: prefer EAs with a defined risk per trade over blind doubling.
- Pair and timeframe: make sure you can run the recommended market, for example XAUUSD on M1 or EURUSD on H1.
- Account type: scalpers need ECN or Zero spread, calmer systems work on Standard.
- Minimum deposit: respect it so the strategy has room to work.
- Support and updates: buy from a seller that keeps the robot updated.
