Mean-Reversion AUDJPY EA for MT4
Sharp moves rarely hold, and therefore Ricochet EA lives off that habit. As an AUDJPY EA for MT4 it buys sharp dips and sells sharp spikes in the direction of the bigger trend, then it rides the bounce back. Crosses built on the Australian dollar are its favourite ground, although stocks and the other majors belong to the job too. Mean reversion is the idea, and the robot applies it without asking you to read a chart.
MULTI-PAIR • LOW DRAWDOWN • BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
Why Traders Pick Ricochet
- Many markets, one robot, because Forex majors and crosses (AUD pairs) plus stocks share the same rules.
- Drawdown under control, since risk is capped on every trade while a daily profit lock keeps growth steady.
- Hands-off from entry to exit, so position sizing, stop, trailing and exit all run automatically.
- Friendly to beginners, because sensible defaults skip the complex tuning.
- No activation and no license hassle, therefore you buy once and keep it forever, lifetime updates included.

Buying the Dip Without Guessing
A falling candle alone proves nothing, so Ricochet checks four things before it acts: direction, momentum, strength and the higher timeframe. If one of them disagrees, then the robot stands aside. Selective entries therefore replace constant activity, and win quality stays high instead of the trade count. In short, the robot picks its moments.
Once a position opens, an automatic stop immediately caps the damage. Then a dynamic trailing stop follows the bounce and locks profit as it develops. Besides that, a daily profit target can close the day in green, which keeps drawdown low. Furthermore, every one of those limits sits in the Inputs tab, so the last word still belongs to you.
Toolkit of the AUDJPY EA for MT4
- Adaptive position sizing, either a fixed lot or automatic risk-based sizing that grows with your balance.
- Smart exits, namely a stop loss on every trade, break-even and a dynamic trailing stop.
- Daily profit lock, which therefore stops trading once the day hits its target.
- News filter, namely the faireconomy calendar on MetaTrader 4.
- Session control, so you trade only the sessions you want (Sydney / Tokyo / London / New York).
- Weekend shield, since trades close before the weekend to avoid gap risk.
- Spread & slippage filter as well, next to a clean on-chart dashboard.
M1 Rewards a Clean Account
A one minute candle brings plenty of chances, yet it also pays the spread more often. Of course that cost adds up. Pick an ECN or Raw Spread account for that reason, because cheap execution feeds straight into the result. The spread and slippage filter then blocks the moments when the cost turns silly. As a result, only sane fills reach your account.
Speed also asks for a stable connection, of course. A VPS keeps the terminal awake around the clock, so a bounce at three in the morning still gets taken. Meanwhile the weekend shield clears the book before Friday ends, and gap risk never reaches your balance. In short, Monday opens with a clean book.
One Account Holds Them All
You do not need a second broker login, so a single funded balance is enough. Attach the robot to as many charts as you like, then switch Position Sizing to a fixed lot, for example 0.01 per pair. Sizes stay controlled that way, and as a result the profits from all of them add up together in one account. Risk-percent mode, on the other hand, belongs to a single pair per account, since each chart would otherwise size on the full balance. Use it there and compounding runs at full speed. Meanwhile the dashboard on each chart reports what that symbol is doing.
Recommended Setup
- Markets: Forex majors and crosses (AUD pairs), and stocks as well.
- Timeframe: M1, that is a one minute candle.
- Account: ECN / Raw Spread, in other words low spread, from $200.
- VPS: recommended, because trading then runs uninterrupted 24/5.
