A Forex EA (Expert Advisor) is a program that trades for you inside MetaTrader. It watches the market, opens and closes positions by its own rules, and runs 24 hours a day, five days a week, without emotions or fatigue.
How an EA works
You attach the robot to a chart and enable Algo Trading. From there it follows its strategy: some scalp tiny moves on the one minute chart, others ride trends on higher timeframes. Good EAs include risk control so a single trade cannot wipe the account.
What you need to start
- A MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 account with a broker.
