Multi-Market Breakout Robot for MT4
Ranges break in the same way on a share and on a currency cross, and therefore Bastion EA MT4 trades both sides with one set of rules. It waits for the market to commit to a direction, and then it rides the move. Levels of support and resistance mark the ground it watches, of course. You attach it, then you pick your risk, and afterwards the robot handles the rest, so there are no indicators to configure and no charts to read.
MULTI-PAIR • LOW DRAWDOWN • BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
Why Traders Pick Bastion
- Many markets, one robot, because Forex majors and crosses (GBP and AUD/JPY) plus stocks share the same rules.
- Drawdown under control, since risk is capped on every trade while a daily profit lock keeps growth steady.
- Hands-off from entry to exit, so position sizing, stop, trailing and exit all run automatically.
- Friendly to beginners, because sensible defaults skip the complex tuning.
- No activation and no license hassle, therefore you buy once and keep it forever, lifetime updates included.

The Range Breaks, the Robot Moves
Nothing opens while the market drifts, because four conditions have to agree first: direction, momentum, strength and the higher timeframe. If one of them disagrees, then Bastion stands aside. Selective entries therefore replace constant activity, and win quality stays high instead of the trade count. In short, the robot picks its moments.
Once a break pays, the exit logic immediately takes charge. An automatic stop caps the risk, then a dynamic trailing stop follows price and locks the gain as the move develops. Besides that, a daily profit target can close the day in green, which keeps drawdown low. Every limit sits in the Inputs tab, so the last word still belongs to you. In short, you set the ceiling and the robot respects it.
Inside Bastion EA MT4
- Adaptive position sizing, either a fixed lot or automatic risk-based sizing that grows with your balance.
- Smart exits, namely a stop loss on every trade, break-even and a dynamic trailing stop.
- Daily profit lock, which therefore stops trading once the day hits its target.
- News filter, namely the faireconomy calendar on MetaTrader 4.
- Session control, so you trade only the sessions you want (Sydney / Tokyo / London / New York).
- Weekend shield, since trades close before the weekend to avoid gap risk.
- Spread & slippage filter as well, next to a clean on-chart dashboard.
Same Rules on a Share and on a Cross
Shares open and close with the exchange, whereas a currency cross keeps going all week long. The session filter covers that difference for you, therefore one set of inputs serves both. A high impact release can also fake a break, and the news filter stands the robot down around those minutes.
Speed on M1 asks for clean execution as well, of course. Choose an ECN or Raw Spread account, since cheap fills feed straight into the result. In short, costs decide more than you expect. Meanwhile a VPS keeps the terminal awake, because a break can happen at any hour of the night. Of course, a demo account is the right place to begin.
One Account, Many Charts
A second broker login buys you nothing here, so one funded balance is enough. Attach the robot to as many charts as you like, then switch Position Sizing to a fixed lot, for example 0.01 per pair. Sizes stay controlled that way, and as a result the profits from all of them add up together in the same account. Risk-percent mode, on the other hand, belongs to a single instrument per account, since each chart would otherwise size on the full balance. Use it there and compounding runs at full speed. Finally, the dashboard on each chart reports what that symbol is doing. As a result, one login is all you ever manage.
Recommended Setup
- Markets: Forex majors and crosses (GBP and AUD/JPY), and stocks as well.
- Timeframe: M1, that is a one minute candle.
- Account: ECN / Raw Spread, in other words low spread, from $200.
- VPS: recommended, because trading then runs uninterrupted 24/5.
