The forex market never closes, but it does breathe. During the Asian hours volume is thin and price usually builds a tight range. When London arrives, real money comes in and that range becomes the first thing to attack.

As a result, the break of the night box is one of the oldest and cleanest intraday plans there is. However, doing it by hand means waking up, drawing the box, and watching the clock. Shogun does all three for you.

How the box is built

1. The window. The indicator watches a fixed stretch of the night in server time, by default from midnight to eight.
2. The box. When the window ends, the high and the low are frozen and both edges extend to the right, labelled ASIA HIGH and ASIA LOW.
3. The break. The first candle that closes above the box gives a buy, the first that closes below gives a sell, until the deadline hour.

Both sides stay live all session, so a false break that snaps back does not stop you from taking the real one later. Small dots mark the candles that poked out of the box and closed back inside.

How to trade the asian range breakout MT4 signals

• Enter on the close of the arrow candle. The break is already done.
• Stop just on the other side of that candle, or on the far edge of the box if you prefer more room.
• First target, one box height. Then trail the rest while the session keeps pushing.
• Mind the clock. Therefore, after the deadline hour the indicator stops firing, because a break at the end of the day rarely travels.
